Wiginton v. CB Richard Ellis, Inc.
Wexler Wallace filed the complaint and served as Co-Lead Counsel in this class action against CB Richard Ellis, alleging claims of sexual harassment on behalf of a class of female employees. After extensive litigation, Wexler Wallace secured a favorable settlement that provided monetary relief to eligible claimants, as well as a charitable contribution to the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network for scholarships to promote the entry and advancement of women in the real estate services industry. Gomez v. PNC Bank, National Association
Wexler Wallace LLP is currently taking discovery in a class action lawsuit on behalf of a former employee of PNC Bank, Mariseli Gomez. The case -- filed by Thomas A. Doyle (who is Of Counsel to Wexler Wallace) and by the law firms of Schad Diamond & Shedden P.C. and the Burke Law Offices LLC -- seeks class action and collective action status on behalf of current and former employees of PNC Bank in Illinois who were classified as non-exempt from the overtime laws but who worked overtime for which they were not paid. The Complaint alleges that PNC Bank had a company-wide pattern or practice of requiring employees to work overtime off-the-clock, including overtime hours worked during meal breaks, and overtime hours worked at off-site promotional events.
