WW Files Suit On Behalf of Persons Who Owned Units of the Archstone-Smith Operating Trust

Archstone-Smith.  Stender v. Cardwell, et al., Case No. 07-cv-02503 (D. Colo.).  WW has recently filed a class action with co-counsel on behalf of all persons who owned Class A-1 Common Units of the Archstone-Smith Operating Trust.  The case alleges that defendants breached both contracts and their fiduciary duties to unit holders as a result of a merger through which the Trust was taken private by two other companies, Tishman Speyer and Lehman Brothers, which are also named as defendants.  The merger compelled unit holders either to sell their units or to exchange those units for shares of inferior value in the merged entity.
