Plaintiffs Distribute Notice of Settlement with AstraZeneca in AWP Litigation

On December 7, 2007, Plaintiffs distributed notice of their settlement with AstraZeneca on behalf of Medicare Part B beneficiaries who paid for AstraZeneca's prostate drug Zoladex. A copy of the claim form is available here. If you submit a valid claim form, you may be able to receive up to $125.62 for each month you paid in full a percentage co-pay for Zoladex. You may receive up to $28.86 per month if you made partial co-payments.

AstraZeneca has agreed to pay up to $24 million to Medicare Part B beneficiaries who paid a percentage co-payment for Zoladex and who submit a valid claim form. The settlement resolves Plaintiffs' claims that AstraZeneca reported false and inflated pricing information on Zoladex, causing Medicare beneficiaries to pay more for the drug.
